Tonight the Salsa in Rio party returns to the the Mariuzinn club in Copacabana. Beginning at 7:30 PM, singer Ana Egito returns to Rio Scenarium to start the night with her show “Rio, 450 Anos de Samba” (Rio, 450 Years of Samba). During the show, Egito will perform her reinterpretations of works by Nelson Cavaquinho, D.Ivone Lara, Silas de Oliveira, Paulinho da Viola, and Paulo Cesar Pinheiro, among others. Singer-songwriter Leandro Fregonesi will follow at 10:30 PM with the best of samba.

Tonight at Lapa’s Leviano bar it’s time to dance as the group Mano a Mano starts things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor.
