Located by Rio’s Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, with views of the famous Cristo Redentor, (Christ the Redeemer) statue, Miroir is well-known for attracting an elite and glamorous crowd. Since its opening in 2012, the venue has become a popular Rio nightlife destination.
Miroir recently started to vary its programming more, adding to its well-known house nights, additional hip hop and rap events and live sertanejo nights. For those wanting to check out live hip hop, rap and trap in Rio in an upscale and intimate environment, this is the place to go tonight.

Following last night’s performacne, tonight Sesc Copacabana will once again host Jonas Sá as he presents his new album Blam! Blam!. During the perfomance, accompanying Sá will be Daniel Vasques and Thiago Queiroz on sax and flute; Everson Moraes on trombone; Aquiles Moraes on trumpet and flugelhorn; Gustavo Benjão on guitar; Eduardo Manso on MPC, guitar, and synth Rafael Rocha and Marcelo Callado on percussion, MPC, and drums.

O Club Workout (Arpoador)
Tonight O Club Workout (the Workout Club) debuts in Rio’s Cave club in Arpoador. Arriving direct from São Paulo, the event is an aerobic twerk class inspired by pop diva choreography. Taught by Nayane Fernandes of the São Paulo Club Workout, the class will last one hour and entry will be free for all tonight.

The weekly Karaokê Indie party returns to Casa da Matriz tonight with eight hours of singing and promotions that will include two-for-one specials on five drinks; caipirinha, caipivodka, Hi-fi, Cuba Libre and mojito. Additionally, shots of Chuva cachça will be distributed throughout the night.

Tonight the weekly Latin Party Rio returns to Guimo’s Pub in Copacabana. During the party DJs Mateus, Jo, and special guests will spin the best of reggaeton, merengue, salsa, pop, house, and hits. Caipirinhas will be free until 11PM and beer will be unlimited until midnight.

Singer Ana Egito will follow at 11PM with her show “Rio, 450 Anos de Samba” (Rio, 450 Years of Samba). During the show, Egito will perform her reinterpretations of works by Nelson Cavaquinho, Silas de Oliveira, Paulinho da Viola, and Paulo Cesar Pinheiro, among others.
