Colombia’s Stock Market Outperforms Latin Peers as Technicals Confirm Resilience

Data from TradingView and official market sources show the MSCI COLCAP Index closed at 1,699.41 COP on July 1, 2025.

The index saw a 0.58% gain in the session as it set a new multi-month high. The market sustained its leadership in Latin America, outperforming major regional peers during the last 24 hours.

Market participants focused on factual drivers as they considered the latest numbers. Colombia’s inflation settled at 4.82%, the lowest in four years.

The central bank maintained rates at 9.25%. GDP growth expectations held steady near 2.5% for 2025. Solid export numbers and rising portfolio inflows provided support.
