Sunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Today the arts, music, fashion and food fair, O Cluster will hold a special literary edition with CinePoema at Casa da Glória.
For the 12th edition of the fair today, thirty brands and designers will be on hand as well as ten food vendors and chefs. There will also be vinyl and comics sellers
Additional activities will include live painting with Claudio Gil, Pisicinema (cinema at the pool); an art and video exhibition, curated by Thais Medeiro and Gab Marcondes; live storytelling with Hanny Saraiva; and a book exchange and donation section.
Resident DJs Ícaro dos Santos, Andrei Yurievitch, Nado Leal, and guest DJs Feio & Horroroso and Maurício da Baratos will spin during the event.
Organizers recommend early arrival as the event space is subject to quickly fill to capacity.

All Ireland Final Live (Copacabana)
Beginning at 11:30AM this morning, the Garota de Copacabana will host a live viewing party for the All Ireland Final. Organizers say that this is the first time that the event will stream live in Rio.

Jazz no Morro (Cantagalo)
Today and tonight, the weekly Jazz no Morro event returns to Gilda in Cantagalo with a special Superjazz edition. Arriving direct from São Paulo, the Superjazz party will feature the saxophonist Gabriel Gabriel, bassist Max Dias, drummer André Froes, guitarist Pablo Barros, and DJ Mr Rabbit performing and spinning the best of acid jazz, bebop, nujazz, classic soul, neosoul and more during the event.

Cabeçada (Botafogo)
It’s time for the best of rock, funk rock, hip hop and poetry as Audio Rebel in Botafogo host the third edition of Cabeçada. The groups General Sagaz and Ludi Um and As Cabeças will perform live tonight.

It’s time once again for the best of house, electro, and pop as the twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club. DJ Pedro Whitaker will start the party around 5PM by spinning on the deck and DJs Pedro Piu, Andress Fleming, and Rael Barja will follow, spinning inside throughout the night until 5AM Monday morning.

Tonight it’s time for the best of funk, hip hop and trap as Fosfobox presents the Baile do Luan. During the night in the subsolo (basement), MCs TH and Cabelinho will perform and DJs Luan and Lula will spin. Above at the Fosfobox bar during the night, Tabajara and DJ Laun will perform.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Ballet 2 playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.
