Brazil Considers Helping Chile and Paraguay in Israel Repatriation

Brazil is considering assisting Chile and Paraguay in repatriating their citizens from Israel, indicating that other nations might also request Brazil’s help.

No formal answer has been given yet, but insiders expect Brazil to help as long as it doesn’t limit spaces for Brazilians.

Last Sunday, Brazil announced a rescue plan. The Brazilian Air Force stated four planes are ready to go:

• Two KC-390 planes, each can carry 80 passengers.
• Two VC-2 planes, each can carry 38 passengers.

This plan focuses on Brazilians in Israel for work or travel. By Monday morning, 1,744 Brazilians had reached out to the government.

Of these, 73.2% don’t hold Israeli citizenship. People on the list will get phone calls from the embassy.

Meeting points will be set up in Israel. From there, buses will take the Brazilians to the airport for departure.
