Catalonia’s Generalitat announces the creation of a new “embassy” in Brazil

On August 2, the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, announced that the next autonomic budget would contain shock measures against inflation but avoided specifying any of these measures.

He talked about the international expansion of the Catalan Generalitat, which has not only rebuilt its network of "embassies" dismantled in the application of Article 155 of the Constitution but has gone from having representation in 44 countries to 63.

In this regard, the Minister of Foreign Action and Open Government, Victòria Alsina, of Junts per Catalunya (JxCat), has boasted of opening a new "embassy" in Brazil, a decision . . .
