Bus crashes into cliff in Paraná state, southern Brazil, killing at least 10 people

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – At least ten people died, and 21 others were injured in a road accident on Wednesday evening (30) in Sapopema, Paraná. The victims were on a bus that had fallen off a cliff in the region.

According to the State Highway Police (PRE), the accident occurred at kilometer 268 of PR-090 in the Serra Fria region.

According to local authorities, the vehicle was carrying more than 30 workers from different regions of Brazil. The information comes from the portal G1.

According to initial information from the police, the accident site was located in a sharp curve. The driver would have lost control of the steering, left the road and overturned the vehicle.
