Grupo Niche, the Colombian salsa orchestra, plays Niche Sinfónico with the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia at DAVIarena in Sabaneta, in the Medellín metropolitan area, on Saturday 24 April 2027. The show starts at 7 p.m. Colombia time, which is 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) in New York and 5 p.m. on the US Pacific coast.

Tickets are on sale at Tuboleta, the official seller, from 180,400 Colombian pesos (COP), or US$56.96, to COP 685,400 (US$216.43) in the first price stage, service charge included. A presale for customers of Banco Davivienda ran from Thursday 22 October 2026, and general sale opened on Saturday 24 October at 10:00 Colombia time, the seller says.

What the Show Is

The seller describes Niche Sinfónico, subtitled Un Universo de Sentimientos (A Universe of Feelings), as a project that won the 2023 Latin Grammy and that played Bogotá’s Movistar Arena before coming to DAVIarena for the first time. It names José and Juan José Aguirre as music directors and says the band and the orchestra will play the hits that honor the work of the late Jairo Varela.

The band’s own website says Niche Sinfónico, recorded with the symphony orchestra of Colombia, won the Latin Grammy for best salsa album at the 2023 gala held in Seville. The Recording Academy, the body that runs the Grammy Awards, lists the band’s album 40 as the winner of Best Tropical Latin Album in 2021 and its album Clásicos 1.0 as a nominee in the same category in 2026.

Bogotá has its own date, because the Movistar Arena lists Niche Sinfónico on Friday 16 April 2027, with doors at 5 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m. local time. The Bogotá page describes a fusion of 100 musicians on one stage, and the Rio Times has a separate guide to the Bogotá show.

Tickets and Prices

The seller’s first price stage runs from COP 180,400 (US$56.96) for a Piso 3 seat with a partial view to COP 685,400 (US$216.43) for the Tribuna Fan Norte stand, and every total includes a service charge. Dollar figures here use the representative market rate of COP 3,166.91 per US$1 for 30 October 2026, published by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia, the financial regulator, on the national open-data portal.

A Platea 101 to 109 seat in the first stage costs COP 456,900 (US$144.27), and a Piso 3 seat in sectors 307 to 309 costs COP 240,500 (US$75.94). Once the allotment for a sector is filled its price moves to the full price, which runs from COP 188,800 (US$59.62) to COP 709,400 (US$224.00) in the seller’s table.

The presale was reserved for Davivienda customers and ended on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 09:59. The seller sets a limit of four tickets per transaction for both stages.

Seating is numbered, the minimum age is 12, and the seller names sectors 305, 306, 310 and 311 as alcohol-free zones. Sectors 301 and 315 can have a restricted view depending on the stage setup, and the seller says complaints about visibility will not be accepted afterward.

Tuboleta says it is the only authorized ticket operator for DAVIarena, and the venue says Tuboleta does not sell through social networks or WhatsApp groups. The venue takes no responsibility for tickets bought on the secondary market, and all tickets are delivered in the Tuboleta Pass app.

Buying From Abroad

The seller offers a separate checkout for cards issued outside Colombia, and it says that for a purchase with an international card the tickets are delivered only at the box office to the person who made the purchase. A US buyer should therefore plan to collect the tickets in person at a Tuboleta box office.

The venue lists Tuboleta box offices at DAVIarena, at the Mayorca, Santa Fe, El Tesoro, Sandiego and Molinos shopping centers and at the Plaza Mayor experience center in Medellín. The seller adds that purchases made by website, call center or sales point carry a delivery fee that is shown before payment.

Getting to DAVIarena

DAVIarena, formerly known as Arena Primavera, stands in Sabaneta, a municipality south of Medellín, between Avenida Las Vegas and Avenida Regional and about a five minute walk from the Mayorca shopping center. The venue says the name DAVIarena became official in May 2026 after an alliance between its operator, BeatHub Entertainment, and Banco Davivienda.

The venue recommends the Medellín Metro, which means taking Line A to Itagüí station and walking about eight minutes, a distance the seller puts at about 500 meters. Taxis and ride-hailing apps use marked drop-off and pick-up points at the Itagüí station, at the Mayorca shopping center or on Calle 60 Sur.

The Metro’s fare table lists a single ride for an occasional rider at COP 4,400 (US$1.39) at the lowest integration level, and an occasional-rider Cívica card costs COP 12,100 (US$3.82). The Metro says its ticket windows and reload machines take cash, and that from Monday to Saturday it runs from 4:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with the last trains leaving the end stations at 10:40 p.m.

The venue says the Metro runs extended night service for selected mass events and concerts, and it tells visitors to check the schedule for each show on the official accounts of DAVIarena and the Metro. The date of 24 April 2027 is a Saturday, when the Metro’s regular service ends at 11:00 p.m.

The venue says it has no public parking and keeps 503 spaces for holders of VIP tickets and a VIP parking ticket, with entry on Calle 57 Sur. Drivers who park elsewhere should not stop on Avenida Las Vegas or Avenida Regional, where the venue warns that cars can be towed and fined.

Inside the Arena

The venue says DAVIarena is fully roofed, closed and air-conditioned, in a five-level building designed by the architecture firm HOK. It lists 54 spaces for visitors with reduced mobility and their companions, elevators on every level, ramps and accessible restrooms in each sector.

All seats are numbered, according to the venue, which counts 24 food and drink stands inside and four restaurants with outside access. Food and drinks cannot be brought in, professional cameras are not allowed, and alcohol is sold only to people 18 and older, who may be asked for an identity card.

The Band Behind the Show

Grupo Niche says on its official site that it was formed in 1979 in Bogotá by Jairo Varela Martínez, a native of the department of Chocó, and moved its base to Cali in 1983. The site adds that its 1984 song Cali Pachanguero became the official theme of the Feria de Cali.

The site says Varela died on 8 August 2012, and that the 1990 album Cielo de Tambores is the band’s most successful production, with songs such as Una Aventura and Busca por Dentro. It credits its album 40 to the direction of Yanila Varela and the production of José Aguirre.

For readers in the United States, the band’s tour page lists Niche Disco Tour dates in Elizabeth on Saturday 14 November 2026 and in Lynn, Massachusetts, on Sunday 15 November 2026. Those dates are separate from the April symphonic show.

Entry, Safety and Money for US Visitors

The State Department’s Colombia page says a visa is not required for stays of 90 days or fewer and that the passport must be valid at the time of entry and for the duration of the stay. Migración Colombia, the immigration agency, says foreign visitors present a valid passport, a ticket out of the country and proof of financial means where required.

Migración Colombia describes its Check-Mig online pre-registration as free and optional, and says travelers can fill it in up to 72 hours before a trip or up to one hour before it. The State Department page notes a limit of US$10,000 in cash on entry and exit, with anything above that to be declared and its legal source proven.

The State Department’s Colombia advisory, dated 31 March 2026, is Level 3, reconsider travel, because of crime, terrorism, civil unrest, kidnapping and natural disasters. It names Arauca, Cauca (excluding Popayán), Valle del Cauca (excluding Cali) and Norte de Santander as do-not-travel areas, and Antioquia, the department that holds Sabaneta and Medellín, is not on that list.

The advisory says violent crime is common in many areas, that street crime can quickly become violent and that travelers targeted by criminals should not resist. It also says US government employees are barred from hailing taxis on the street or using public transportation, and the department’s country page advises booking taxis through a dispatch service or car service app whenever possible.

Colombia uses a single legal time of UTC minus 5, meaning five hours behind Coordinated Universal Time, according to the national metrology institute’s legal-time page. After US clocks move forward on 14 March 2027, Colombia is one hour behind New York, so 7 p.m. in Sabaneta is 8 p.m. EDT.

What It Means for You

For a US fan the practical steps are to buy from Tuboleta, expect to collect the tickets at a box office if paying with a foreign card, and choose between the Metro and a marked ride-hailing drop-off point for the trip to Sabaneta. Visitors who prefer to avoid public transportation can use the drop-off points instead.

Travelers can start with the Rio Times Colombia coverage and its guides to the Fonseca concert in Medellín and the Laura Pausini show at DAVIarena. Prices, availability and the exchange rate can change before the show, so the seller and venue pages are the places to check last.

What Is Not Known

Neither the seller nor the venue publishes a set list, guest artists or the length of the show. The seller says schedules can change because of operations, weather or decisions by the authorities or organizers.

The seller says the event has a parking area, while the venue says DAVIarena has no public parking, and the venue’s wording is the one used here. The Movistar Arena’s Bogotá page also carries one sentence that names the year 2026, while its date field says Friday 16 April 2027, and the date field is used here.

Neither source says whether the Metro will run extended hours on the night of the show. The seller says ticket prices can fluctuate at any time with supply and demand, so the figures here can change before April.
