The Mägo de Oz Mexico City date is one of 13 Mexican stops on a tour built around the band’s 2025 album.

Mägo de Oz, the Spanish band that mixes heavy metal with Celtic folk, plays Mexico City on Sunday 15 November 2026. The Mägo de Oz Mexico City concert takes place at Arena CDMX, with doors at 19:00 and the show at 21:00.

Tickets are sold on Superboletos, a Mexican ticketing platform, and at the arena box offices. Prices run from MX$565 to MX$2,008 (US$32 to US$115).

Mägo de Oz Mexico City: Date, Venue and Tickets

Arena CDMX, also called Arena Ciudad de México, stands in Azcapotzalco, in the north of the capital. It opened in 2012 and holds up to about 22,300 people, making it one of the city’s largest indoor venues.

The cheapest seats, in the Rosa section, cost MX$565 (US$32), and the Café section MX$691 (US$40). Seats on the arena floor start at MX$1,067 (US$61) in the red zone, and the VIP floor costs MX$1,883 (US$108).

The top price, MX$2,008 (US$115), applies to a group of sections including Pepsi, Toyota and Amarillo. Service charges may be added at checkout.

Tickets went on sale on 14 November 2025, a full year ahead. The promoter is Zignia Live, a Mexican concert company.

Who Mägo de Oz Are

Drummer Txus di Fellatio founded Mägo de Oz in Madrid in 1988. The band mixes heavy metal with Celtic folk, with violin and flutes alongside electric guitars.

Albums such as Finisterra and Gaia made it one of the most popular bands in Spanish-language rock. Songs like Fiesta Pagana and Molinos de Viento became anthems in Spain and Latin America.

The band’s name means the Wizard of Oz, after the children’s story. The line-up has changed often over the years.

The current singer, Rafa Blas, joined in 2023, and violinist Carlos Prieto, known as Mohamed, is a long-standing member. The tour takes its name from Malicia: La Noche de las Brujas, the album the band released in October 2025.

The Mexican leg began at the Feria Nacional de Zacatecas on 16 September. Guadalajara follows on 7 November, then Torreón on 12 November and Monterrey on 13 November.

After Mexico City come Oaxaca on 18 November, Puebla on 20 November and Hermosillo on 25 November. Mexicali, Tijuana, León, Querétaro and Toluca close the run by 5 December.

Venues range from arenas, such as Arena Guadalajara and Arena Monterrey, to auditoriums and polyforums. In Tijuana the band plays El Trompo, and in Hermosillo an open-air venue, Parque La Ruina.

What It Means If You Live in Mexico City

Arena CDMX is some distance from neighbourhoods such as Roma, Condesa and Polanco, where many foreigners live. Allow extra time on a Sunday evening, and plan the return trip before you go.

Ride-hailing apps are the simplest option after a late show. Buy tickets only through Superboletos or the arena box office, as resale tickets may be fake.

Mexico City sits about 2,240 metres above sea level, so November nights can be cool. Bring a jacket for the walk out of the arena.

Doors open two hours before the show, so there is time to find your seat and eat inside the arena. Sunday traffic is usually lighter than on weekdays, but big events still slow the roads nearby.
