Why the Daniel Caesar Santiago Concert Matters to US Readers

Daniel Caesar is a Canadian singer who blends R&B, soul and contemporary sounds. The arena describes the Daniel Caesar Santiago concert as an intimate, emotional show built on his best-known songs.

The date falls in Chile’s early summer, because the seasons run opposite to those in the US. A US fan can combine the Daniel Caesar Santiago concert with a few days in a city below the snow-capped Andes.

The show is one stop in a South American run, and we have already covered his dates in Bogotá and in Lima. Santiago is the only Chilean date we found on the venue calendar and the ticket page.

The tour name is not stated on the venue page or in the ticket text. The Puntoticket web address carries the words Son of Spergy Tour, but neither page uses that name in writing.

In Plain English

Santander Arena is a covered concert hall in Parque O’Higgins, a big public park in the south of central Santiago. Many older maps and posts still call it Movistar Arena, its former name.

Puntoticket is the seller the arena names, and the venue says it is the only official one for its shows. The organiser, called the producer in Chile, is DG Medios SpA, a Chilean production company.

Daniel Caesar Santiago Date, Time and US Eastern Schedule

The Daniel Caesar Santiago concert is on Thursday 10 December 2026. Both the venue and Puntoticket give a 9 p.m. start, but neither lists a support act, and door times go on the arena’s Instagram.

Chile is on summer time in December, which puts Santiago at UTC-3, two hours ahead of New York at UTC-5. A 9 p.m. start in Santiago is therefore 7 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Central and 4 p.m. Pacific.

The date is a Thursday, and the arena advises planning your arrival to avoid crowds. Plan to be at the gates well before 9 p.m. rather than at the hour on the ticket.

The arena’s calendar lists a busy week around the show. Nicky Jam plays on 4 December, Cuarteto de Nos on 5 December, Omar Courtz on 6 and 7 December and Daniel Caesar on 10 December.

Daniel Caesar Santiago Tickets, Prices and Seats in US$

Puntoticket lists six seat types for the Daniel Caesar Santiago concert. Totals below include the 17.75 percent service charge and use CLP 986 per US dollar (US$1), so your card statement will differ.

Tribuna, the cheapest sector, costs CLP 58,875 (about US$60) in total, from a base price of CLP 50,000. Platea Alta, the upper seated sector, costs CLP 70,650 (about US$72).

Cancha, the standing floor in front of the stage, costs CLP 82,425 (about US$84). Platea Baja, the lower seated sector, is the top price at CLP 105,975 (about US$107).

Wheelchair spaces and the companion ticket each cost CLP 82,425 (about US$84), and the page says these spaces are limited in number. The venue does not promise a move to another area for guests without a ticket for that section, even with a disability card.

A presale with 20 percent off for Banco Santander cardholders ran from 11 to 13 August. General sale opened on 13 August at 11:01 a.m.

When we read the page on 1 November, it showed a sold-out label beside the presale and an available label beside the general sale. It does not say which seat types are still free, so check Puntoticket before you book flights.

A purchase is limited to six tickets per transaction, and the presale limit was four. Puntoticket says promotions cannot be combined, and any discount applies to the ticket price only, not to the service charge.

Daniel Caesar Santiago Name and ID Rules for Visitors

The tickets are nominative, which means each one carries the name of a person. Puntoticket says naming and downloading the tickets opens on 1 December 2026 at 10 a.m. Chile time, which is 8 a.m. Eastern.

The buyer must then enter personal data, and the ticket page says to show a Chilean identity card (cédula de identidad). The arena’s help page says a cédula or a passport.

A US visitor should carry the passport and use the passport name on the ticket. The two pages word the ID rule differently, so call the arena on +56 2 2770 2300 or ask Puntoticket before you travel.

Everyone who enters needs a ticket, including small children, and the venue says children generally pay from age two. For this show, anyone under 16 must come with a responsible adult.

Do not buy from unofficial sites, because the venue says it cannot answer for problems with tickets sold there. A nominative ticket bought from a stranger may also fail at the gate if the name does not match.

Getting to Santander Arena

On foot, guests enter through the Parque O’Higgins Metro station or along Tupper street. Santiago’s Metro is the subway, and the station name is the same as the park.

For the Daniel Caesar Santiago concert, cars may enter only with a parking ticket bought in advance, and the venue sells those only through Puntoticket. The ticket tells you whether to use Avenida Viel or Avenida Tupper, and we found no parking price on the pages we read.

Most US visitors land at Arturo Merino Benítez airport, west of the city. Our Santiago city guide explains the neighbourhoods and transport, and our Santiago guide for November lists other shows this season.

The venue sits inside a public park, so allow time to walk from the Metro exit to the gates in the dark. Leave by Metro or a licensed taxi or ride-hailing car, and arrange your ride before the lights come up.

Entry Rules and What You Cannot Bring

For the Daniel Caesar Santiago concert, the arena says every guest passes a security check with metal detection. Bottles, outside food and drink, sharp objects, umbrellas, professional cameras and banners on sticks are not allowed.

We found no bag size rule on the venue’s help page, so travel light and leave luggage at your hotel. Most tickets are e-tickets that you can download again from Puntoticket if your phone fails.

The arena says it has access routes, preferred areas and adapted toilets, and staff can walk guests with reduced mobility to their seats. The venue’s help page lists the same phone number for questions about access.

Safety and Costs for US Visitors

The State Department, the US foreign ministry, says US citizens need no visa for up to 90 days in Chile. You receive a tourist card on arrival, return it when you leave, and need a passport valid for your whole stay.

The State Department rates Chile at level 2, exercise increased caution, because of crime and civil unrest. It says large demonstrations can start with little warning in Santiago and disrupt buses and the Metro.

After the Daniel Caesar Santiago concert, thousands of fans leave at once, so pick a ride from a well-lit point. Keep your phone and wallet out of sight in the crowd.

The US Embassy in Santiago answers on +56 2 2330 3000, and local police take crime reports on 133, according to the State Department. If you extend your trip, our Chile holidays guide lists the closures from 8 December.

Budget for the ticket, a ride each way and food. The arena sells food and drinks inside, but outside food and drink is not allowed.

More Concerts in Santiago This Season

Santiago has a full December calendar, and a US fan can stack the Daniel Caesar Santiago concert with several other nights. We cover Anuel AA’s Santiago nights and CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, and the arena lists Omar Courtz on 6 and 7 December.

Our Santiago guide for November shows what else is on in the city before the concert. Check each show’s start time and ID rules separately, because the sellers word them differently.

What Is Not Confirmed Yet

We have not heard from the organiser, DG Medios SpA, so every detail comes from the Puntoticket page and the Santander Arena event page. The artist’s own tour page showed no Santiago date when we checked.

The doors time, the support act, the length of the set and the official tour name are not published on the pages we read. We also do not know which seat types are still on sale or whether a second Santiago night will be added.

The ID rule for foreign visitors is worded two ways, so the safest step is to ask the venue or Puntoticket directly. The arena’s help page accepts a printed or digital ticket, but this show’s page asks for the e-ticket at your section.
