Daniel Caesar plays the Duomo at Costa 21 in Lima on Tuesday 8 December 2026, with the official seller Teleticket listing an 8:00 p.m. start. Regular tickets cost S/207 to S/333.50 (about US$60 to US$97) including fees, and the Daniel Caesar Lima concert falls on a Peruvian public holiday.
For US readers, 8:00 p.m. in Lima is 8:00 p.m. in New York, because Peru has no daylight saving time and the US East Coast is on standard time in December. The Canadian singer’s Son of Spergy Tour reaches Lima as its fourth South American stop, two days before the final show in Santiago.
This guide covers the date, venue, ticket prices in US$, time zones and entry rules. It also covers the dispute over the ground under the venue and what is still unconfirmed on 23 October 2026.
When and Where the Daniel Caesar Lima Show Is
The concert is on Tuesday 8 December 2026 at the Duomo, one of the spaces of the Costa 21 complex on the Costa Verde coastal strip in San Miguel, Lima. Teleticket gives the address as Costa Verde s/n, San Miguel, and Costa 21’s own show list carries the date as 8-12-2026.
Teleticket says the event may start at 8:00 p.m. and lasts about 2 hours, and it names Bizarro Entertainment y Servicios Perú S.A.C. as the producer. It publishes no door time and no opening act.
Daniel Caesar is a Canadian R&B singer and songwriter whose debut album Freudian is certified double platinum in the United States. His fourth album, Son of Spergy, came out in October 2025 and is the reason for this tour.
The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart, according to Live Nation. He also won the International Achievement Award at the 2026 Juno Awards.
Daniel Caesar Lima Tickets and Prices in US$
Tickets are sold on Teleticket’s website only, with a virtual queue, and each customer may buy up to 6. A presale for BBVA bank cardholders ran from 5 to 7 August, and Live Nation says general sale opened on Friday 7 August at 10:00 a.m. Lima time.
The regular price list shows Platinum at S/333.50 (about US$97) and VIP at S/207 (about US$60). The BBVA presale price was S/290 (about US$84) for Platinum and S/180 (about US$52) for VIP.
A disability rate of S/275.50 (about US$80) for Platinum and S/171 (about US$50) for VIP is open only to people registered with CONADIS, Peru’s national disability council, who must show their card at the gate. Teleticket says prices include its service fee and legal taxes, and the dollar figures here use S/3.44 per US$1, the rate on 23 October 2026.
Teleticket sells three VIP packages while stock lasts, each with one Platinum ticket: Son of Spergy Soundcheck at S/1,378.50 (about US$401), Who Knows Early Entry at S/913.50 (about US$265) and Rain Down Premium at S/768.50 (about US$223). Teleticket says the soundcheck is run by the touring band and does not include Daniel Caesar himself, and that the VIP photo does not include the artist either.
Teleticket’s rules ban resale, and it says it is not responsible for tickets bought outside its official channels. E-tickets can be downloaded from 6 December, two days before the show.
Showtime and Time Zones for US Fans
Lima uses UTC-5 all year, so the 8:00 p.m. start is 8:00 p.m. in New York, Washington and Miami on 8 December. It is 7:00 p.m. in Chicago, 6:00 p.m. in Denver and 5:00 p.m. in Los Angeles.
We found no announcement of a livestream or broadcast of the Lima show from Teleticket, Live Nation or the venue. US fans who want to see him in this run would need to attend in person.
Getting In and What to Bring
Teleticket requires a ticket or e-ticket at the gate, says re-entry is not allowed, and says entry after the time on the ticket depends on the organiser’s rules. Bags are searched, and food, drinks, glass, lighters, laser pointers, drones, selfie sticks and professional cameras are banned.
The event is listed as suitable for all audiences, and children from age 8 may enter with a responsible adult if both hold tickets for the same sector. Children under 8 are not admitted, and the venue may ask to see ID for both adult and child.
For a concert at the same venue in May, the promoter published a pedestrian route down the Bajada Parque John Lennon and across the John Lennon bridge to Gate 3, RPP reported. Its vehicle route ran along the Circuito de Playas toward San Miguel, and we found no route map yet for 8 December.
Costa 21 describes itself as an open-air complex of three spaces with room for 30,000 standing or 20,000 seated across the site. It does not state the capacity of the Duomo itself, so we cannot give one.
The Son of Spergy Tour Across South America
Live Nation’s Latin American listing shows Bogotá on Sunday 29 November, São Paulo on Wednesday 2 December, Buenos Aires on Saturday 5 December, Lima on Tuesday 8 December and Santiago on Thursday 10 December. The listed venues are Vive Claro, Suhai Music Hall, Estadio Obras, Costa 21 Duomo and Santander Arena.
Live Nation’s August announcement named the Movistar Arena for Santiago, while its listing now says Santander Arena, so check the venue name before travelling. The announcement described the tour as the biggest of his career and the first on which he headlines arenas around the world.
Costa 21 also hosts Sleeping With Sirens on 6 December and Babymetal at Costa 21 on 7 December, so the same venue has several big nights that week. Our Lima city guide covers neighbourhoods and getting around.
Holiday Week and Venue Safety
Peru’s government lists Tuesday 8 December (Immaculate Conception) and Wednesday 9 December (Battle of Ayacucho) as national holidays, so the show is on a holiday and the next day is also a day off. Offices and many services run on holiday schedules, so plan transport and dinner ahead.
In May 2026 the Peruvian navy warned that the ground under Costa 21 and the neighbouring Arena 1 may not suit very large crowds, Infobae reported, citing alerts from the national geophysics and geology institutes. The San Miguel municipality called the criticism “irrational and disproportionate”, said Lima’s metropolitan government approves a risk plan before each large concert, and asked the navy and Lima’s risk office for a joint review.
The navy and the municipality are also in court over whether the 2019 land concession allows event venues at all, and in September San Miguel closed the neighbouring Arena 1 and cancelled Robbie Williams’s second night there after finding evacuation and exit problems at his first show, Caretas reported. We found no closure order for Costa 21, where concerts have continued, and the venue’s own site still lists Daniel Caesar on 8 December as of 23 October.
The US State Department rates Peru Level 2, Exercise Increased Caution, for crime, civil unrest and kidnapping, in an advisory last reissued on 16 May 2025. It says crime is common, including petty theft and muggings, and that the risk is higher at night.
For the May concert the promoter advised arriving by public transport or taxi, leaving valuables at home and avoiding resellers. The same advice suits 8 December.
What It Means for You
If you are in the United States, the show is at the same clock time as New York and there is no stream we can point to, so the choice is to travel or to wait for a later tour. A ticket of S/207 to S/333.50 (about US$60 to US$97) is the cost of entry, before flights and lodging, which we did not price.
If you go, buy only from Teleticket, download the e-ticket on 6 December and check the entry rules for US passport holders on the State Department and Peruvian immigration sites, which we did not verify here. Plan for a holiday week, a night event on the coast and the venue-safety question in the section above.
What Is Not Known
We could not confirm whether any tickets remain or whether either price tier has sold out, because Teleticket’s page does not show stock. The door time, the opening act, the set length and the Duomo’s capacity have not been published on the pages we read.
The outcome of the navy’s dispute with San Miguel is not known, and neither is whether the city’s risk office has set a crowd limit for 8 December. We also could not confirm how many VIP packages remain, or whether Arena 1’s closure will spill over to Costa 21.
