Catalonia’s Generalitat announces the creation of a new “embassy” in Brazil

The Generalitat has informed that the new delegation will be based in Brasilia, and its function will be “to facilitate the institutional representation of the Government of the Generalitat in the Federative Republic of Brazil concerning matters within the competence of the Generalitat or of interest to Catalonia”.

Currently, the Generalitat has delegations to the European Union, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, France, Southeast Europe, Central Europe, Nordic and Baltic countries, Portugal, Tunisia, Senegal, Mexico, and Argentina.
