Unemployment among 18-24 year olds fell to 19.3% in the 2nd quarter of 2022. In the previous quarter, the rate was 22.8%.
The unemployment rate among young people, however, remains higher than the general average, which includes the entire population.

Overall, unemployment is 9.3%, that is, 10.1 million people are unemployed. The level among young people registered so far is the lowest since the 3rd quarter of 2015, still in the Dilma Rousseff government . . .
