Brazil and Paraguay agree to third bridge of Bi-oceanic Highway

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The bridge will span 1.294 km and be 20.10 m wide, to be built by the Ministry of Public Works and the Itaipu Binational Entity. It will connect the Paraguayan city of Carmelo Peralta with Brazil's Puerto Murtinho to strengthen regional integration and enhance the functionality of the Bi-oceanic Road Corridor.

"The construction of the bridge will enable the regional connectivity of this corridor. It is contracted for 36 months. It's 3 years, but the consortium is committed to try to reduce that time. And we are here today to say . . .
