Ecuador’s foreign minister is traveling to the United States to promote his candidacy for the UN Security Council

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Juan Carlos Holguín, Ecuador's minister of foreign affairs and human mobility, will travel to the United States on Thursday to promote Quito's candidacy to the United Nations Security Council, according to the institution.

In a press release, the Foreign Ministry said that during his stay in Washington DC, Holguín will also meet with senior officials of President Joe Biden's administration to discuss bilateral cooperation issues.
