Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay launched candidacy for the 2030 World Cup

With the presence of Pablo Milad, president of the ANFP, and Alexandra Benado, minister of Sports, the official launch of the candidacy of Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay to host the 2030 World Cup was held in Montevideo on Tuesday.

The joint candidacy of the four South American countries has the motto 'Centennial World Cup', pointing to the fact of organizing the maximum event of football 100 years after the first World Cup event, organized by Uruguay in 1930.
