TAAG Airlines expands air service between Angola and DR Congo

Angolan airline TAAG has announced an increase in flight frequencies between Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), aimed at bolstering commercial exchange between the two nations.

From the 14th of this month, an additional frequency will be offered between the capitals, Luanda and Kinshasa.

This increase, says the airline, is driven by the goal of supporting business growth and mobility, and responding to market demand indicators.

Kinshasa’s route will now see four weekly flights operated by a DASH-8 model aircraft, capable of carrying 74 passengers.

This service enhancement coincides with the 1st Angola-DRC Economic Forum held in Kinshasa, under the theme Economic Partnerships towards Mutual Growth.

The two nations, which share a significant bilateral trade flow and an extensive land border, are also part of regional organizations such as SADC, ECCAS, GGC, and ICGLR.
