The Latin American market for mergers and acquisitions recorded a 40 percent decline in transaction volume to US$50.094 billion in the year's first half. At the same time, the number of transactions remained stable at 1,621.
This is according to a "Transactional Track Record Report" published on Tuesday (19) in collaboration with "Datasite" and "AON". The private equity segment closed June with 83 deals, of which 33 transactions had a total non-confidential amount of US$4.711 billion, a decrease of fourteen percent . . .
