LATAM Brazil returns to Boston for the winter season

Beginning October 30, LATAM Brazil resumes operations between São Paulo (GRU) and Boston (BOS) with three weekly flights.

It will be the only non-stop service from Logan International Airport (BOS) to South America. The company’s last commercial operation on this route was on April 5, 2020.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, the company will have an offer of 1,878 seats per week in six air operations.

The Massachusetts capital will be LATAM’s fourth destination in the United States for the northern winter season.

FLIGHT ITINERARY

  • São Paulo Guarulhos – Boston, Flight LA 8164, GRU 22:50 – BOS 07:35+1, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
  • Boston – São Paulo Guarulhos, Flight LA 8165, BOS 17:30 – GRU 05:35+1, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Services will be operated in Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity for 313 passengers in two classes (30 Business Class/283 Economy), and promotional fares start at US$372 one way.

Data compiled by Aviacionline through the Department of Transportation (DoT) indicates that in 2019 São Paulo – Guarulhos (GRU) was the sixth most important U.S. market in Latin America, where 2,936,814 passengers were mobilized.

From São Paulo – Guarulhos (GRU):

  • Miami (MIA), ten flights per week on Boeing 777-300ER.
  • Orlando (MCO), thrice a week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
  • New York (JFK), daily flights on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Boeing 777-300ER.
  • Boston (BOS), thrice a week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

From Fortaleza (FOR):

  • Miami (MIA), once a week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
