Brazil’s new taboos: 60% of Lulistas oppose son or daughter marrying a Bolsonarista

PoderData surveyed voters who intend to vote for Lula da Silva from July 31 to August 2 on how they would feel if their son or daughter married a Bolsonaro sympathizer - and vice versa. The results show that more than half of Lulistas and Bolsonaristas think they would be "very unhappy" if they had a son or daughter-in-law who was an admirer of the other candidate.

The percentage is highest among former President Lula da Silva's voters, with 60% saying they would be "very unhappy" if a son were to form a union with a Bolsonaro sympathizer . . .
