Brazil sets export record of nearly US$200 billion in first 7 months of 2022

Between January and July 2022, Brazilian exports reached a record US$200 billion. This amount is 20% higher than the US$160 billion recorded in the same period last year. The data comes from the Ministry of Economy.

So far, the transformation industry has contributed just over US$100 billion in 2022. That is, its share in Brazil's record exports was more than 50%. Rural production contributed 25% and extractive industries 22%.
