The concern with a ‘communist’ turn in Brazilian development’s path mainly affects the Bolsonarist voters. According to the survey, 61% of Brazilians who will vote for President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) believe a ‘communist future’ ahead.

The study also questioned respondents about the LGBTQIA+ population, and most assumed they were homophobic or opposed to the presence of same-sex couples in television commercials.

51% of Brazilians totally or partially agree that “commercials with homosexual couples should be banned to protect children”.

The survey was conducted between December 13th and 16th and counted on 3.666 Brazilians 16 years old or more, located in 191 cities. The margin of error is two percentage points higher or lower.
