44% of the population fears that Brazil will turn communist -survey

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A survey conducted by the Datafolha Institute - and released last Saturday (25) - shows that half of the Brazilians - that is, 44% of the population - say they fear that Brazil will become a communist country in the next elections, in 2022.

Even with the high number of people who believe in this possibility, 50% of Brazilians are against this statement.

The concern with a 'communist' turn in Brazilian development's path mainly affects the Bolsonarist voters. According to the survey, 61% of Brazilians who will vote for President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) believe a 'communist future' ahead.
