Bollywood Singer Shreya Ghoshal Plays Pretoria 5 December

A Bollywood playback singer brings her Unstoppable Tour to South Africa for two nights in December. Pretoria is nearly sold out, and Durban tickets are listed at Ticketpro.

Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal plays SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa, on Saturday, 5 December 2026, the promoter’s ticket page says. She plays Durban ICC the night before, on Friday, 4 December.

Blu Blood Tickets, the Pretoria seller, showed only VIP and Royals seats left on Monday, 26 October 2026. Cheaper tiers from R450 (about US$27) were marked sold out.

What the Unstoppable Tour Is

The Unstoppable Tour is Shreya Ghoshal’s world tour of 2026. It has already played the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and North America, Hypress Live reports.

A playback singer records songs that actors then mime on screen in Indian films. Ghoshal sings for Bollywood, the Hindi language film industry based in Mumbai.

The IANS news agency says the South African dates follow her recent US shows, with an India tour to come. She says South Africa “has always been a special place to return to”.

Hypress Live says Pretoria marks her return to South Africa after seven years. It says the promoter Blu Blood last brought her to the country in 2019.

The Pretoria Show at SunBet Arena

The Pretoria concert is on Saturday, 5 December 2026 at SunBet Arena, part of the Time Square casino precinct in Menlyn Maine. Blu Blood Tickets lists the address as 209 Aramist Avenue, Waterkloof Glen.

Doors open at 18:00, subject to change, and the show starts at 20:00. The listing says it should end at about 23:30, and it does not yet confirm an interval.

The arena seats about 8,500 people, and up to 10,500 can stand, City Press reported in 2025. Time Out Pretoria also lists 8,500 seats.

Blu Blood Tickets says Peace Homes Development presents the show, with Blu Blood and Fire Water Earth Productions powering it. All ages are admitted, and children aged 2 and over need their own ticket.

Pretoria Tickets and Prices

Blu Blood Tickets lists eight Pretoria tiers, from Bronze at R450 (about US$27) to Royals at R6,000 (about US$361). Royals includes light finger snacks and a soft drink.

VIP costs R3,000 (about US$181), and Platinum is R1,500 (about US$90). Diamond is R1,000 (about US$60), Rose Gold R750 (about US$45), Gold R650 (about US$39) and Silver R550 (about US$33).

On Monday, 26 October 2026 only Royals and VIP were available, and every other tier was marked sold out. The page lists no booking or service fees.

All sales are final, except where the law requires a refund or the show is cancelled. Blu Blood warns that tickets from unauthorised resellers may be refused at the door.

Conversions use open.er-api.com rates of Monday, 26 October 2026, when US$1 bought R16.60. Check the seller before you pay, because availability can change within hours.

The Durban Show on 4 December

Shreya Ghoshal plays the Durban ICC on Friday, 4 December 2026, the Ticketpro listing says. The venue is the Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC Complex at 45 Bram Fischer Road.

Doors open at 18:30, and the show runs from 20:00 to 22:30, the listing says. Showtime Promotions is the organiser named there, and Ticketpro is the seller.

Durban prices run from R450 (about US$27) to R4,000 (about US$241) across numbered tiers. A VIP tier shows no price, and a U Experience add on costs R4,500 (about US$271) with an entrance ticket.

Children aged 3 and over need a ticket in Durban, and paid parking is available at the ICC. Glass bottles, alcohol, cameras and recording equipment are banned there.

Hypress Live gives Sunday, 6 December for Durban, but Ticketpro and the IANS report say Friday, 4 December. This guide follows the seller, Ticketpro.

Getting to the Arena and Where to Stay

On site parking is available at Time Square, both Blu Blood Tickets and Time Out Pretoria say. Menlyn Maine is a busy retail district, so leave extra time on concert evenings.

City Press notes that guests can stay at the adjoining Maslow Hotel and avoid driving home after a show. No shuttle or public transport plan has been published for the concert.

The State Department calls the Gautrain rapid rail a safe option but bars its staff from Metrorail commuter trains. Neither is confirmed to serve the arena, so plan a licensed ride home.

Many US visitors land at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg. The State Department says victims have been followed from that airport and robbed at their homes or hotels.

Entry Rules and Safety for US Visitors

The Department of Home Affairs lists the United States among countries whose citizens need no visa for 90 days. The State Department says your passport must stay valid for 30 days after you leave.

It also requires two consecutive blank visa pages for every entry, and says you will be denied entry without them. Endorsement pages do not count.

The State Department rates South Africa Level 2, Exercise Increased Caution, in an advisory dated 27 May 2025. It cites crime, terrorism, unrest and kidnapping.

It says violent crime is common, including carjackings and smash and grab attacks on vehicles. Phones and purses have been taken in broad daylight, it adds.

Kidnappers target US citizens and other foreign travellers, often forcing victims to withdraw cash, the advisory says. It advises against driving at night and against walking in downtown areas after dark.

The US Embassy in Pretoria, at 877 Pretorius Street, does not offer consular services to the public. The Consulate General in Johannesburg serves Gauteng, and the State Department urges travellers to enrol in STEP.

What It Means for You

If you want Pretoria seats, only the top tiers were left on 26 October, at R3,000 (about US$181) and R6,000 (about US$361). Durban offers lower priced tiers from R450 (about US$27), according to its Ticketpro listing.

Buy only from Blu Blood Tickets for Pretoria and Ticketpro for Durban, because resold tickets may be refused. Book flights and rooms with flexible terms until you hold a ticket.

Arrange your ride home before the show, and keep phones and bags out of sight. Travel in a group, and avoid driving or walking alone after dark.

What Is Not Known

The Pretoria support acts, set list and interval have not been confirmed. The organisers have also not published a shuttle or transport plan.

Durban tier availability is not shown on the listing page. The seven year gap since her last visit comes only from Hypress Live.

Hypress Live puts the Durban show on Sunday, 6 December, while the seller and IANS say Friday, 4 December. The Durban start time, doors and prices come only from Ticketpro.
