DRINKS:
Degusta Talk Show @ Copacabana Palace (Copacabana) – Held in the Golden Room at Copacabana Palace, Rio de Janeiro’s most famous luxury hotel, this event, which offers a dynamic and interactive format, is a blend of Master Class with an interview program where the public has the chance to learn more about wines and take part in a debate.
Marcelo Copello and Jorge Lucki interview Francisco Baettig, recently elected the best oenologist (wine expert) of the year in the world and the first in Chile to have two 100-note wines.
During the conversation, wines are presented and commented by the interviewee. Includes presentation, tasting and food (handmade breads and olive oil, cheeses / cold cuts).

LIVE:
Choro da Esquina @ Bar do Serginho (Santa Teresa) – Enjoy the outside street music atmosphere of Santa Teresa, drink a little wine and listen to a first class chorinho (traditional Brazilian style music similar to samba).
The music will start at 7PM at Bar do Serginho, one of Santa Teresa’s favorite music bars, in a neighborhood known for its excellent concerts and street performances.
There is no artistic cover charge, but they do ask for spontaneous contributions in order to keep the music alive and the musicians playing.

PARTY:
The Glow Party! @ New Mariuzinn (Copacabana) – It’s back! the party brought to you by Rio Sessions which promises the biggest Monday night.
There will be free caipirinhas until midnight, random tequila shots, promotions on beers and vodka energy drinks.
If you’re looking for an upscale, big club experience, this seems to be the ticket. The club will be immersed in black light and they will be handing out everything from glow paint to glow bracelets and much more.
This night there will be live samba, then DJ Caue Campean will be spinning some house, hiphop and reggaeton, followed by DJ Dluccio who will spin pop, trap and deep house.
Two DJs, two floors, and only one block away from Copacabana beach.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those who aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 6PM and finishes at 8PM.

Pavão Azul (Copacabana)
Pavão Azul is a lively bar in Copacabana, famous for its exceptionally cold beers and prawn pastels. It gets crowded there every night, making every day of the week seem like the weekend.

Blue Agave Copa (Copacabana)
As well as great drinks and authentic Mexican food, the Blue Agave bar in Copacabana is one of the best places to watch live sports. Make sure to check out the original Blue Agave located in Ipanema also.

Shenanigan’s (Ipanema)
With classic pub games like darts and pool, Ipanema’s Shenanigan’s is always a great spot to visit. Monday to Friday, Happy Hour is from 6PM to 8PM and Mondays are half-price steak nights starting at 8PM.

Nosso (Ipanema)
Located in a charming house at Maria Quitéria Street, its sophisticated drinks and dishes are undoubtedly worth a try. You will also enjoy Nosso if you are a rum lover: their rum drinks, with labels from Cuba and Jamaica, are the house specialties.
