Jão Memórias Póstumas Tour: Five Brazil Dates From 31 October, Full Price From US$40

The Jão Memórias Póstumas tour opens at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday 31 October 2026. Four Brazilian arena dates follow in 2026 and 2027, with general sales on Eventim from 1 October.

The Brazilian pop singer Jão has announced a tour of Brazil for his album “Memórias Póstumas”. It starts in Rio de Janeiro on 31 October 2026 and ends, for now, in São Paulo on 27 March 2027.

Jão Memórias Póstumas Tour: Five Cities in Brazil

The tour visits four state capitals and the federal capital, always on a Saturday. All venues are indoor arenas except the São Paulo stadium.

Rio de Janeiro comes first, on 31 October at Farmasi Arena. The arena stands on Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno in Barra Olímpica, the former Olympic Park area in western Rio.

Belo Horizonte follows on 21 November at the Ginásio Mineirinho. It sits on Avenida Antônio Abrahão Caram in the Pampulha area, beside the Mineirão football stadium.

Recife hosts the show on 28 November at the Ginásio de Esportes Geraldo Magalhães, known locally as Geraldão. It lies on Avenida Marechal Mascarenhas de Morais in Imbiribeira, a district in the south of the city.

Brasília’s date is 12 December at the Ginásio Nilson Nelson, also called Arena BRB Nilson Nelson. It lies in the Plano Piloto, the planned central area of the capital. São Paulo closes the announced run on 27 March 2027 at Nubank Parque, the Palmeiras stadium in the Água Branca district.

Jão also plays Lisbon, Portugal, on 19 March 2027, outside the Brazilian run.

Who Jão Is and Why This Tour Follows a Record Night

Jão is a Brazilian pop singer and songwriter. “Memórias Póstumas” (“Posthumous Memories”) is his fifth studio album, according to O Tempo.

O Tempo, citing the Folhapress agency, reported that the album grew out of more than a year away from the stage. That period included the death of his father and a break from social media.

The new era began on Friday 25 September 2026 at Nubank Parque, in front of about 60,000 people. CNN Brasil reported that the crowd was larger than Taylor Swift’s audience at the same stadium in 2023.

The actress Isabel Teixeira shares the billing. On Instagram, Jão wrote that the tour stars “me and my partner Isabel Teixeira”.

Ticket Prices in Reais and Dollars

Brazilian tickets usually come in three prices. The inteira is the full price. The meia-entrada is a legal half price for groups such as students and people aged 60 and over. The entrada social is a middle price, often tied to a donation.

Dollar figures use 5.2255 reais to the US dollar, the closing rate on 28 September 2026. Prices follow the tables CNN Brasil and Billboard Brasil published that day.

In Rio, Belo Horizonte and Recife, upper seats cost R$210 (about US$40) at full price. The half price is R$105 (about US$20). Lower seats cost R$380 (about US$73), and the standing floor, called pista, R$450 (about US$86).

Rio also sells boxes (camarote) at R$500 (about US$96). In Brasília, the upper seats cost R$260 (about US$50) at full price; the other sectors match the first three cities.

São Paulo is dearer. Upper seats cost R$260 (about US$50), lower seats R$440 (about US$84) and the pista R$495 (about US$95), all at full price.

The VIP Super Fã Itaú package costs R$990 (about US$189) at full price, or R$995 (about US$190) in São Paulo. It includes a pista ticket, early entry, a special VIP credential, a limited-edition tour poster and a merchandise kit.

Fans who miss their VIP time slot lose the package items, Billboard Brasil reported.

How the Sale Works: Pre-Sales and 1 October

Customers of Itaú Private Bank and Itaú Personnalité can buy from 29 September at 10 a.m. Other Itaú customers follow on 30 September at 10 a.m. Both times are Brasília time.

During the pre-sale, Itaú cardholders get 30% off full-price tickets, subject to availability. They can also pay in up to three interest-free instalments.

General sales open on 1 October at 10 a.m. online through Eventim, and at 11 a.m. at the official box offices. Each buyer may take four tickets per CPF, the Brazilian taxpayer number.

Bank pre-sales are a common pattern in Brazil’s concert market. One bank’s customers buy first, and the general public follows.

Practical Tips for Foreigners

Because the ticket limit is counted per CPF, visitors without one should check Eventim’s registration options before buying.

Half-price tickets require proof of eligibility at the gate, such as a Brazilian student card. Most foreign visitors will pay the inteira.

Popline reported that children and teenagers aged five to 15 may enter only with a parent or legal guardian. VIP package times are announced up to 48 hours before each show, by social media and email.

Ride apps or taxis are the simplest way to reach Barra Olímpica, Pampulha and Imbiribeira at night. In Brasília, the arena lies near the central Eixo Monumental avenue.

What Is Not Yet Known

The announcement did not include start times, door times or opening acts for any city. Buyers should check the Eventim page for their show.

The published tables do not explain what the entrada social requires for this tour. Jão wrote that the tour “is slowly growing”, but no further dates have been announced.

The São Paulo record points to strong demand. The Eventim page for each city remains the reliable guide as the dates approach.
