Harvard will move its Latin American Research Center from Argentina to Uruguay in 2022

By · July 28, 2021 · 1 min read

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Through an email, prestigious American Harvard University announced its decision to close its Latin America Research Center in Argentina and move to Uruguay.

“Thank you for your support and commitment to the Harvard Business Schools Global Initiative and the Latin America Research Center (LARC). We are writing to advise that the LARC office will be moving from Buenos Aires to Montevideo, Uruguay, in the first half of 2022,” wrote the think tank in an email as reported by Nexofin.

This is not a university center, but rather a research center and was established in Argentina in 2000 with the aim to “satisfy Harvard Business School’s strong interest in the dynamics of the region.”
