Puerto Rican urban music artist Eladio Carrión brings a one-night Halloween show to the Dominican Republic’s second city. Here is what US fans need to know.

The Eladio Carrión Santiago concert takes place on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at Parque Central de Santiago, in the Dominican Republic. Todotickets, the official ticket seller, lists the show from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. local time.

Tickets cost 2,800 or 5,900 Dominican pesos (about US$46 or US$97), with the service charge included. Cibao International Airport, about 15 minutes from the city centre, lists American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue and United among its airlines.

What the Show Is

The concert is billed as the Corsa Grid Halloween Concert Special, a one-night show built around Carrión’s 2026 album Corsa. Listín Diario, a Santo Domingo daily, reported the date on Thursday, 3 September, when tickets went on sale.

The stage design is inspired by a giant cargo container, with fan activations around the venue, according to the announcement. The show draws on the album’s themes of speed, racing and constant movement; corsa is Italian for race.

Diario Libre, another Santo Domingo daily, says the Puerto Rican artist was born in Kansas City to a Puerto Rican family. He was a promising competitive swimmer before he began releasing songs almost a decade ago, the paper said.

Corsa features Myke Towers, Mora, Cazzu, Midnvght and TopBoy, according to Listín Diario. Its songs include “Ricky Bobby”, inspired by the Talladega Nights character, and “Polaroid”, which reworks Michael Sembello’s 1983 hit “Maniac”.

Carrión launched the album with concerts at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan in May, Diario Libre reported. Listín Diario said in September that he would receive the Inspira Award at the 39th Hispanic Heritage Awards in Minneapolis.

Tickets, Prices and Where to Buy

Todotickets, a ticketing company with a branch in Santiago, is the only seller named in the announcement. Its event page lists two categories, both standing.

  • General Standing: 2,800 Dominican pesos (about US$46), sold as a first-stage price.
  • Standing VIP: 5,900 Dominican pesos (about US$97), a second-stage price, with access to the VIP area in front of the stage.

Todotickets says both prices include its service charge, and it warns that ticket prices may change. The general price is labelled stage one, so later batches may cost more.

You can also pay in person at the Todotickets branch in Plaza Lama Santiago, on Avenida 27 de Febrero. A mobile box office at the venue entrance will sell tickets on the night, subject to availability.

Tickets are sent by email, so check the address you enter before paying. Todotickets allows no changes or refunds after purchase; if a show is cancelled, it refunds the ticket price but not service charges.

Each ticket carries a QR code valid for one entry, printed or shown on your phone. Todotickets’ purchase terms bar backpacks, bags, food and weapons at in-person events.

Conversions use the Dominican Central Bank buying rate at the close on 7 October: 61.06 pesos per US dollar.

The Venue and How to Get There

Parque Central de Santiago, on Avenida Bartolomé Colón, is one of the city’s main spaces for mass events, according to Diario Libre. In April the paper reported that the bachata singer Elvis Martínez would play a concert there on 4 July.

Santiago moved its 2025 carnival there, and Diario Libre reported that the site offered more space for shows, parking and security. The show is outdoors, so plan for rain, because the Atlantic hurricane season runs until 30 November.

On 8 October the US National Hurricane Center was tracking Hurricane Isaias in the Gulf of Mexico, far from the island. No storm was listed near the Dominican Republic.

Cibao International Airport is about 15 minutes from the centre of Santiago, according to the Dominican tourism ministry. The airport lists American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue and United among its airlines, so check each one’s current routes.

The State Department advises taxis recommended by your hotel or a well-known company. It says Uber is available in many areas, and it warns against unregulated taxis and guaguas, the shared minibuses.

The concert ends at 11 p.m., so book your ride back in advance rather than looking for one at the gate.

Entry Rules for US Citizens

US citizens need no visa for stays of up to 30 days, the State Department says. The tourist card fee is included in airline charges, and stays can be extended at the Migration Department in Santo Domingo.

Travellers must complete an eTicket, the online entry and exit form, for each arrival and departure. The State Department says passports must be valid for six months from arrival.

Overstays bring fines at departure, from about US$56 for one month to more than US$1,660, according to the department.

Safety and Practical Tips

The State Department rates the Dominican Republic Level 2, Exercise Increased Caution, because of crime. Its advisory, issued on 12 June 2025, says tourist destinations are generally more policed than metropolitan or rural areas.

Santiago is a metropolitan area, so the general advice applies: do not display wealth, and travel with a group where possible. If robbed, the department says, comply and hand over your belongings rather than resist.

It also advises caution around large gatherings, which includes an open-air concert crowd. Keep your phone and tickets close, and agree a meeting point with friends before the show starts.

Dominican authorities run frequent operations to expel Haitian migrants, and some US citizens mistaken for migrants have been temporarily detained. The State Department tells US citizens to carry their passports at all times.

The US Embassy in Santo Domingo answers on +809-567-7775. The nearest US consular agent to Santiago is in Puerto Plata, on +809-586-4204.

At the Central Bank rate, 1,000 pesos is about US$16, a useful yardstick for taxis, food and drinks.

What It Means for You

If you want to see the Eladio Carrión Santiago show, buy only on Todotickets or at its Santiago branch. Keep the emailed tickets on your phone and a copy offline.

Budget about US$46 for general standing or US$97 for the VIP area, plus flights, a hotel and rides. Prices may rise as stages sell out, so earlier is cheaper if you are sure to go.

Fill in the eTicket before you fly, carry your passport and plan your ride home before the 11 p.m. finish. If you are staying in Santo Domingo or at a beach resort, allow for the road trip to Santiago and back.

What Is Not Known

Todotickets lists start and end times, but no door time has been published. No opening acts or age limit have been announced.

It is not known whether either category will sell out, or how much the general price will rise after stage one. Parking arrangements and any road closures around Parque Central have not been announced.

What Comes Next

The show is on Saturday, 31 October, from 8 p.m., and tickets stay on sale while they last. Check the Todotickets event page before you travel for any change to times or entry rules.

Carrión plans Saucegiving, a community event with music and baseball clinics, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, on Sunday, 6 December, Diario Libre reported.
