Brazil’s Petrobras makes slight adjustments to diesel prices
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Petrobras on Wednesday said it had made some minor adjustments to its diesel sales prices to distributors, without changing the average marketing value of the product in the country.
According to the company, there were 7 price reductions of R$10 (US$1.75) per cubic meter (R$0.010/liter) and an increase of R$8 per cubic meter (R$0.008/liter).

When asked, the company said through its press office that the adjustments did not change the average sale price of Petrobras’ diesel.
The state-run company last adjusted the average price of diesel at its refineries in late October, a 9.15% hike.
On Wednesday, the company announced a reduction of R$10/m³ in S10 diesel prices in Ribeirão Preto (SP), Uberaba (MG), Uberlândia (MG) and Brasília.
In addition, it changed S500 diesel prices in Ribeirão Preto, Uberaba, and Uberlândia to the same values.
The company also increased S10 diesel by R$8/m³ in Senador Canedo (GO), while maintaining S500 diesel prices there.
In the same release, the company said that as of November it began offering distributors the option of delivering gasoline, diesel S10 and S500 to Vila do Conde (PA) by sea.
After customer planning, the first ship is scheduled to be delivered in January 2022.
