Paraguay River rises 15 cm in 24 hours after rainfall

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Rainfall recorded in the past few days throughout the country favored the rise in the level of the Paraguay River.

Data from the Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology indicate that this Thursday the level stands at 0.05 m, an increase of 15 cm in the last 24 hours.

The Paraná River Paraguay-Argentina Navigation Joint Commission head Luis María Jara, indicated on Twitter that the watercourse continues extremely low.

According to the forecast, there will still be scattered rainfall and occasional thunderstorms this Thursday, an indication that the Paraguay River could continue to rise . . .
