Paraguay has the cheapest pork in South America

According to a report by the Paraguayan Association of Pig Producers (APPC), at the end of August, Paraguay had the lowest price for pork in South America.

According to the report, the Paraguayan pig sector registered a value of US$1.25 per kilogram of live weight, the lowest price for animals brought to slaughterhouses in the region.
