Nicolás Petro Burgos admitted to receiving funds from controversial figures like Samuel Santander Lopesierra, and suggested some of these funds entered President Petro’s 2022 campaign, although he claims the president was unaware.

Evidence from Daysuris Vásquez, Petro Burgos’ former spouse, points to potential contributors, including Álex Char.

Armando Benedetti, a significant figure from Barranquilla, played a key role in Petro’s win and had a recent fallout with a presidential aide, hinting at deeper campaign financing issues.
