Google connects to Chile: they install a submarine cable from Valparaíso to California and bring a digital wallet

The company will install in Chile the second region for Google Cloud in Latin America, the implementation of Google Wallet and the installation of a submarine cable that will allow them to connect with the country.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Google took Chile as a benchmark for Latin America and will bring Google Cloud and Google Wallet to the region, through a submarine cable that will run from Valparaíso to California, USA.

According to Diario Financiero, this will take place within the framework of the company's efforts that promise to contribute US$1.2 billion in Latin America. The spotlights will focus on infrastructure and development of digital skills.
