RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - To celebrate World Rock Day, the city of São Paulo has launched a unique program on all weekends in July. The events will take place in municipal cultural institutions and cover different aspects of the music genre, such as punk, metal, hardcore, and psychedelia.
The presentations will take place at Casas de Cultura Butantã, Vila Guilherme, São Rafael, São Mateus, Hip Hop East, Chico Sciense (Ipiranga), Freguesia do Ó and Campo Limpo, Youth Cultural Centers Penha, Grajaú, Santo Amaro, Tendal da Lapa, Galeria Olido and the Flávio Império Theater.
