Portugal’s TAP grabbed this year so far nearly a third of total flight traffic between Europe and Brazil

In the first half of the year, more than 640,000 passengers flew to Brazil with TAP Air Portugal, an increase of more than six times in one year, according to the airline itself.

This figure represents almost 30% of the total air traffic between Europe and Brazil, which is also served by nine international airlines with more than 200 weekly flights.

During the first half of 2022, it operated 3,129 flights and was the third largest international airline in the number of take-offs, representing a huge increase of 130% compared to the same period in 2021.
