RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In addition to Brazilian consumers' traditional Christmas shopping, this year Mercado Libre decided to offer another kind of gift. To celebrate the first Christmas free of travel restrictions, the company launched the "These holidays, the best is yet to come" campaign throughout Latin America to promote reunions between families separated during the Covid-19 pandemic.
To this end, the e-commerce company has rented an airplane bearing its logo to carry 60 passengers from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile and Uruguay to reunite with their loved ones.
