The German diplomat with the rank of consul, Uwe Herbert Hahn, has been arrested in Brazil, accused of murdering his partner, with whom he had been in a relationship for 23 years.
The investigating judge has ordered his transfer to Benfica prison due to inconsistencies between his version and the evidence. The corpse presented 30 injuries, which could be related to sadomasochistic practices.
