Anitta is the first Brazilian singer to have a statue at Madame Tussauds

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Anitta is the latest winner of the Madame Tussauds Museum, known for its wax figures. Six months of work - and 20 artists - were needed to complete the life-size replica and costumes inspired by the music video for Girl from Rio.

In addition to the singer, the New York branch of the exhibition also features Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrósio, Gisele Bündchen, Neymar, and Pelé.

Earlier this week, Madame Tussauds had already announced details of the production, which took place entirely in London, the museum's headquarters in the United Kingdom.
