Dollar records biggest daily loss in 16 months and closes at R$5.37

Relief in domestic and international markets led the dollar to record the most significant daily loss in 16 months, closing below R$ 5.40. The stock market rose more than 1% and closed above 100 thousand points for the first time in almost three weeks.

The commercial dollar closed this Monday (25) and sold at R$ 5.37, dropping R$ 0.129 (-2.35%). The price moved to a low throughout the day and closed near the session's lows.
