Brazil’s Americanas stores to deliver food purchases to favelas

This month, the company will offer the Paraisópolis community in the southern zone of São Paulo City the possibility of making supermarket purchases without leaving home through the app or website.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - One year after taking the online commerce of goods into seven Brazilian favelas, the giant Americanas wants to repeat the dose for food and other supermarket items.
