Brazil: Approval of Bolsonaro government rises 10 points to 41% – survey July 17 to 19

Brazilians' image of the Jair Bolsonaro government has improved significantly in 2022. Today, Bolsonaro's work is rated "good" or "great" by 34% of voters, the highest in the last 1.5 years.

The approval rating of Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) government has been slowly increasing since January 2022. According to a PoderData poll conducted July 17-19, 41% of Brazilian voters now approve of the current federal administration. Another 55% disapprove of the Bolsonaro government.

The picture remains negative for the government but indicates a gradual improvement in recent months. In early January, approval was 31% and disapproval 61%.

PoderData monitors the government's rating every 15 days. In the last round of polling, conducted July 3-5, 39% of respondents approved and 55% disapproved of the federal administration.
