RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The city of São Paulo has begun construction of the largest Ferris wheel in Brazil. It is expected to be operational by June 2022, covering an area of 4,500 square meters. The new attraction in São Paulo's capital is located on the banks of the Pinheiros River in Cândido Portinari Park, next to Villa Lobos Park.
According to the company responsible, the Ferris wheel has a unique, lightweight design and is supported by cables or guy wires specially designed to blend into the cityscape.
