How To Promote Quality Employment In Brazil For A Better Economy?

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Brazilian labour market has earned praises from all across the globe because of its progress. Even though there has been progress in the Brazilian labour market, there is a huge potential for the progress to grow by ensuring quality employment in the country which will have a direct impact on improving the Brazilian economy.

For instance, the minimum wage has already drastically increased for Brazilian workers which further reduced inequality and poverty in the country. The question that now arises is how the situation can further be improved? Here are a few ways in which quality employment can be promoted in Brazil:

1. Vocational And Technical Training Program 

The vocational and technical training programs of the workers should go hand in hand. Such skills are extremely helpful in improving the employability potential of the employee and further ensuring a greater income for them by securing Government Jobs. Also, there is a need to improve the present vocational and technical training program. The very first action for that should be to determine the needs for training and then monitor and further, evaluate the system. 

Also, it is a good idea to increase the government partnerships with the private sector to identify the gap that requires improvement and create better access for getting placed in jobs and internships.

Public Employment Services can help an employee massively in searching for a job by matching it to the qualifications. It can help in improving job placement rates. Also, it is recommended that while creating such services a detailed profile of the worker seeking employment is created just like the profile of the students who have cleared Sarkari Result to identify the best job for them and fit them in it whenever a job vacancy appears. This can easily be done using information systems. 

The Public Employment Services should then analyze the job placement ratio, job referrals, success and satisfaction of the workers once they have landed a job to ensure better services can be provided to other people who are seeking jobs.

The worker turnover rate is high in Brazil and this has created many negative consequences. To promote quality employment in any country, it becomes important to include a diversified productive inclusion program that can strengthen the workers. The worker should be provided with training in different areas like teamwork, motivation and leadership skill in addition to technical skills, as discussed previously. 

Also, a proper path should be provided to the rural workers, especially those who want to shift to non-agricultural jobs. This will make it easier for someone who is looking forward to making such transitions.

6. Security of Employment 

For having any long-term employee, it is extremely important the employer provides them both with employment security and social protection. Security and stability of employment can look like fixed-term employment which creates confidence within the worker that they won’t be laid off. 

On the other hand, social protection can look like medical insurance, fair treatment of the employees and other different social security nets. 

Lastly, work motivation should be given to the worker from time to time to ensure quality employment in the trust form. Such motivational factors play a key role in improving the well-being of the employee, which indirectly improves the job satisfaction level and boosts better productivity.
