The Paraguayan Congress announced today that it will extend the leave of absence of former president and presidential candidate Fernando Lugo, who is doing well in Argentina, to specialized treatment after his stroke on August 10.
The president of that instance, Óscar Salomón, conveyed his surprise at the good health of the also senator and leader of the left-wing coalition Guasú Front, when conveying the decision to extend the license.
