Colombia to lift Covid-19 sanitary emergency

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Tuesday, June 21, the Colombian president, Iván Duque, announced that next June 30, the sanitary emergency declared in the country more than two years ago due to the coronavirus pandemic will be lifted.

The Colombian head of state indicated that, according to the Epidemiological Committee, there are no reasons to maintain the sanitary measures beyond the end of June.
