Also, the Latin American Congress Technology and Business ‘Digital America 2022’ has more than 200 exhibitors and more than 100 conferences in two days.

The event organizers estimate that the event’s economic impact amounts to US$500 million, bringing together professionals who share experiences, establish contacts and make important business deals.

The congress was opened with remarks from the director of América Digital, Lesley Robles, about the event’s impact on South American innovators and the benefits of attending the event.

BACK TO FACE-TO-FACE EVENTS

Orlando Valencia, Adobe Sign’s commercial executive for South America, told Sputnik that the importance of this congress lies in the fact that they came face to face again with customers after the rawest moments of the pandemic.

“Adobe is a company that has driven digital transformation; the pandemic drove customers and companies to digitize all their processes. And that’s why we are here, to help them in this process so that digitization is part of their daily lives, so that paper ceases to exist in the world, and we optimize everything through digital tools,” said Valencia.

The executive pointed out that “it is super difficult to be away from customers” and remarked that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company always looked for “ways to be closer” to its customers.

He remarked that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company always looked for “ways to be closer” to its customers. “To have reactions again, to have contact with them again, face-to-face meetings have been exciting, and it is necessary, it is necessary to be in contact with the customers,” he remarked.

Along the same lines, Juan Moscoso, Regional Sales Leader Datacenter of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) for Spanish-speaking South America, told Sputnik that “being here for us is very important, given that in some way the coverage of this congress, which involves end customers, channels, distributors and of course the brand, allows us to do business, allows us to be in direct contact with them and show them directly what they are doing in their daily lives”.

“And so how together we can do business and we can also bring to customers innovative technology, much more affordable technology and of course the best cost-benefit that exists in the market,” he concluded.

AMD is a company that has been in the market for 53 years and has been a pioneer in technological innovation, achieving advances such as, for example, “being the first microprocessor company to break the gigahertz clock speed barrier. It was also the first company to build a multicolor processor and the first company to develop code in the x86 processor, what we now know as traditional 64-bit,” said Moscoso.
