PAHO offers support to Uruguay government in court case regarding suspension of Covid vaccines for children

The director of the Pan American Health Organization PAHO offered her support "in developing the necessary arguments" in a letter to Health Minister Salinas.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) offered its support to the Uruguayan Ministry of Health after a judge last week forced the suspension of the Covid-19 vaccine for children under 13.

This is according to a letter sent Monday by PAHO Director Carissa Etienne of the Dominican Republic to Health Minister Daniel Salinas.
