RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The revenue of Recife's Porto Digital, the largest technology park in the country and one of the largest in Latin America, reached 3.67 billion reais (about US$734 million) in 2021, 29% more compared to 2020 revenue.
"Despite the adverse situations caused by the health crisis, we reached (in 2021) 355 companies installed in Porto Digital", with a 10% increase in the number of personnel, which totaled 15,000 employees in the specialized area in the last year, highlighted in a press conference the president of this technological pole, Pierre Lucena.
