RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - President Jair Bolsonaro spoke on the phone with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Monday (27), according to the Kremlin. During the dialogue, the heads of the executive bodies discussed global food security.
In the conversation, Putin spoke about trade in fertilizers. Russia is one of the world's largest producers of this commodity. In May, Bolsonaro said that fertilizer supplies were "guaranteed" until early 2023.
