Polls open in Brazil for second round of presidential elections

The polls in Brazil opened at 8:00 local time (GMT-3) this Oct. 30 for the second round of the general elections, during which will be defined who will be the president of the country from 2023, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of the Workers' Party, (PT, left) or Jair Bolsonaro, of the Liberal Party (PL, right).

Bolsonaro, having arrived 10 minutes earlier, cast his vote in Rio de Janeiro, surrounded by his supporters.
