Petrobras’ oil and gas production falls 5.1% in the second quarter

In a statement, Petrobras assured that production contracted 5% compared to the same period last year. The drop in production was attributed to some platforms' divestment of assets and shutdowns.

The oil and natural gas production of Brazil's state-owned oil company Petrobras, the country's largest company, fell 5.1% in the second quarter compared to the first three months of the year, with an average of 2.61 million barrels of oil equivalent, the company informed today.
